The Cult of JT Leroy

In the movie, The Cult of JT LeRoy, Marjorie Sturm tells the story of JT LeRoy, a young media sensation invented and impersonated by older author Laura Albert and her sister-in-law Savannah Knoop.

The film, which won the jury prize at the SF Independent Film festival, was released on FANDOR on February 12 as their feature release for February 2016 and will soon be released on the SundanceNow Doc Club.
